Special thanks to our playtester (ToroGordo), our orbital mechanics advisor (beedav) and our voice actor (James Hendy).
We also worked with one of the wildcard challenges: all audio must be a capella (although we applied some filters!).
Made with Godot 4.2.
Trivia
- All moving elements in the game, including main character, follow modified orbital mechanics. Unlike real-world gravity, which weakens with the square of the distance between bodies, we adjusted the decay of gravitational fields to create a smoother, more satisfying movement. This tweak preserves the feel of orbital motion while enhancing gameplay responsiveness.
- All music and sound effects in the game, including title theme, were homemade. Every single one performed a capella! (Some of them enhanced with audio filters).
- One of the power-ups was suggested by our playtester: proof that fresh eyes can spark great ideas. Give playtesting the time it deserves!
- Some content (including a new power-up, a section of the map, and additional music tracks and sound effects) was not included in the final release, since we did not have enough time for playtesting it. Hopefully coming in a future update!
- Made by two humans and three cats. Guess who was in charge.

Quite surprised with the full vocals intro and outro hehe
Also the graphics and mechanics are simple but effective and well tied up.
